Weekend Recap.

Finally got that whole kidney stone business taken care of, and just in time. The two shows with (Who Are The) Brain Police went pretty well. Destroyed my voice though. On Sunday I went over to my buddy Brett's place. He and George Brown are doing an album for the RPM Challenge, and I laid down some keyboard tracks for them. Looks like I won't be getting my own RPM album done this year. Oh well.

In other news, is still chugging along. Starting March 1, it's going to feature all the tracks from Time For Another Round: Gold Edition in album order, and that'll take us right up to St. Patrick's Day. Woo!

Checking in.

I am *still* waiting for this kidney stone to pass. Ouch. I managed to grit my teeth and muscle my way through a couple shows over the weekend. On Saturday I played at The William Tell in Thornton. Sunday was an apres-ski show at Ragged Mountain. The folks at Ragged were super accommodating; a few of the staff members loaded the gear out for me and everything. Much appreciated!

I've got a busy week coming up: Thursday at The Country Cow in Campton, Friday at the Seven Barrel Brewery in West Lebanon, and Saturday at Shenanigan's over in White River Junction, Vermont. The Friday and Saturday gigs are with (Who Are The) Brain Police. So I hope this stone decides to do its thing soon.

Quiet like a stone.

Things are at a standstill over here at the moment. I went to the ER on Sunday morning, and they found a 3mm kidney stone in me. So I'm home, drinking lots of water, and waiting to pass it. I don't have a show until Saturday night, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed about that one.

This puts me a little behind in my drinking songs efforts this month, but no worries. And is still chugging along. Today's featured track is the legend of Sherman The Brave, to whom we all owe a deep debt of gratitude.

Music For A Song.

Yesterday I played an in-store show at Music For A Song in Tilton, NH. It went pretty well, I thought. Not very well attended though. I didn't expect a large crowd at 1:30pm on a Wednesday, so no worries. It was still fun, and I'll do it again. I recorded the show, and I'll post it as soon as I have time to cook it down.
In other news, marches (or stumbles) on toward St. Patrick's Day. Today's song is by Ghost Town Gridlock, and it's a good one.

Drinking songs.

Well, it's February, and that means it's time for another batch of drinking songs. I've got instrument tracks recorded for the first one, and I'm going to try to pen some lyrics for it today.

In other news, just went live. It features a drinking song a day, every day, right up to St. Patrick's Day. Stop by and start the St. Patrick's Day parade now!

Superbowl at Mantown.

So yeah, what am I gonna do, NOT watch the Superbowl? Sure, it's not a particularly compelling matchup to me. But it's a football game, and I've been invited to Mantown. That's Bill Huber's Concord funhouse. There's football, beer, pool, darts, Guitar Hero, and swedish meatballs. What's not to like? Plus, it looks like it might even be a good game. PIT 10, ARI 7 approaching halftime.
